In the beginning of 2020, a year that everyone waited for, expecting to be the best year of their life, proved to be the worst one so far. Why what happened ? Well let’s summarize that with this cute meme.

So, at the end of 2019 many bad events happened like conflicts between Iran and USA that almost lead to world war III, Australia had to face a huge fire that took a while to end, Venice getting flood, and now the trending topic and the situation that the world is currently facing is a virus called “COVID-19” also known as “Corona Virus” made its first appearance in Wuhan China.

What is this COVID-19 ?

Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause diseases. A newly identified type has caused a recent outbreak of respiratory illness now called COVID-19.

Coronavirus is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-CoV-2 has close genetic similarity to bat coronaviruses, which it’s a theory that it may be the origin.

This virus is also considered as a flu, it is not actually a simple flu, it’s quiet a deadly one, that manage to spread very fast in all over the world and being a huge cause of death.

What are the Symptoms of Coronavirus ?

Did you see the movie “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”? How the “Simian Flu formerly” known as ALZ-112 and ALZ-113 did spread all over the globe at the end of the movie and killed approximately everyone, well the world is facing the same case but it’s not the “ALZ-113” from USA, it’s “Corona” from China.

It did happen in the past known as the Black Death (Peste Noire). It was present in Europe and millions died according to Historians.

In the movie the ALZ-113 made the Apes smarter but killed most of the humans.

Many tried to find out what’s the real reason of the origin of this virus, is it because the chinese eat everything ?

Some Conspiracy theorist suggested that this virus was man made and many started blaming countries for creating it. Other believe that it was originated through natural processes. What do you think about it ?

How bad is it ?

Countries didn’t take the precautions necessary, so it lead them to this day to be in Lockdown.

It is pretty bad actually the world is facing a pandemic, in this day 3/23/2020 having 366,879 Total Coronavirus Cases from it we’ve 16,098 deaths and 101,065 recovered in the world. So we have basically 249,716 Active cases and 117,163 closed cases. It is still increasing unfortunately.

Evolution of the Corona Virus in the World

As we can see the total cases in world increased extremely fast especially near the 12 March 2020. The total recovered is increasing but it’s not enough especially near the end which is bad. The saddest part is that the total death is starting to increase.

Top 10 Countries Affected with Corona Virus

China managed to stop the spread the virus, basically they have around 30 cases a day and sometimes nothing. Most of them have recovered and now they are helping the others countries fighting the virus.

Italy, USA, Spain and Germany are having a hard time stopping the spreading having around +4000 cases everyday. Iran had a hard time at the beginning but now they’ve managed to reduce the number of infected having between 1500-2000 cases a day. France is catching up with a lot of new cases everyday (around +3000).

In Europe, Italy is the one suffering the most, they have more death than China, and soon they will catch up to the same total number of cases as China if they don’t go even more higher.

We can visualize the countries less infected to the most through the color. We can notice that Africa is the continent having the less infections and Europe is the continent having the most infection.

How Lebanon is doing ?

Lebanon a country that just got out from a revolution and entered in a economic crisis, faces this coronavirus. This country is facing a lot. Many reports say that Lebanon can take in around 1000 patients max that have been infected by the coronavirus. As we can see in the graph above “Cases in Lebanon” the total cases is 248 and it keep increasing fastly.

For every disease there is a cure.

So where is it than ? There is not cure yet but it is being developed by many countries, Countries are even racing each other to get to the cure first. An estimation has been made, between this June and August it should be ready.

How are they curing the COVID-19 ?

Doctors are using many kind of treatments that are based on the kind of care given for influenza (seasonal flu) and other severe respiratory illnesses, known as “supportive care”, some of them are working in cases others no. For example, the cure for “Malaria” is being used by some countries proved to be working for some cases but is not the right cure.

How doctors treats the sickest coronavirus patients

Those brave heroes are staying 24/7 trying to cure patients infected by this virus. Many are not returning to home to avoid spreading it to their families and by doing their best everyday to save lives.

What do we do now ?

We can’t wait and sit until the virus come after us. So the world has been set in lockdown for a reason to stop spreading the virus. We need to stay safe by avoiding social contact with people and keeping our self clean from bacteria and viruses in order to not let this virus to infect us. In other words Stay Home & Stay Clean to be Safe.

Your life is really important, don’t give up ! Staying safe is by staying home and clean, avoiding meeting others people or going in public will prevent spreading the virus if you have it or if someone has it, it will avoid to spread it to you.

Positivity of the COVID-19 situation

There is always something positive of a certain situation and in our case you would be surprised but there is something positive about it.

You’re the one who stayed long hours at work to provide for your family. Now that you are at home with your family it is your chance and time to spend it with them. Creating good moments and memories at home despite the bad situation, to be closer to your loved ones once more.

This is also a chance for the world to stand together.
